Many people say that Chinese will be an international language in the future, but I don’ think so.
For one thing , Chinese is too difficult for foreigners to learn, because they find it so difficult to pronounce the four tones and write the Chinese characters. For another, English has already become the international language, for it has been widely spoken in many countries for a few centuries and it’s also much easier to master. Third, no nation wants to give up its own language to learn Chinese. If their languages disappear, their cultures can not exist in the world at all.
Therefore, it’s impossible for Chinese to be an international language.
