With the English langunge become more and more useful,many English examination began to including a test of Spoken English.

随着英语的广泛使用，英语考试开始包含对口语的测试。

While some of people think that It is unnecessary .Firstly, most of people who learning English are not for going abroad.

有人认为英语口试并没有必要，因为我们大多数人学习英语并不是要出国。

Maybe they just want to be able to read English newspapers and articles,and they don’t need to communicate with other people in English.

只是平时可能阅读一些英语的报纸和杂志，并不需要用英语说什么东西。

Secondly,holding a Test of Spoken English to so many English-learners is cost too much.they don’t think it worthwhile to do that.

另外对于这么多的英语学习者都举行口语测试的成本太高。他们认为不值得这样做。

However,some others don’t think so.because the test can make us pay more attentions to imporve our capability to communicate in English.

然而，另一些人认为口语测试非常必要。因为英语口语测试可以使我们努力提高自己的用英语交流的能力。

In the past few years,we placed too much emphasis on grammar and vocabuly,so as to many students had passed the examnation, but they still can’t communicate in English effectively.hxw.red

As for me,I think that the Test of Spoken English is neither completely useless nor very necessary.This will decide according to specific condition.Only in this way can we reduce costs ,and the Test of Spoken English will not turn out to be a mere formality.

对于我来说，我认为英语口试既不是完全没用，也不是完全有必要。要看具体的情况来定。只有这样，英语口试才会既降低了成本，又不流于形式。

A test of spoken English will be included as a component of College English Test. Many people consider it necessary to adopt such a test. For one thing, fluent speaking ability is badly needed in today’s society, a society that is experiencing reform and wider opening to the outside world. For another, in a more competitive society such as ours today, fluent spoken English usually becomes that ounce more advantage you have to beat your rivals in competing for a position having much appeal for both of you. All these point to the indispensability of a spoken English test.
Some people, however, take a different attitude. They regard the test as being unnecessary. Furthermore, many people do not use spoken English at all in their work.
Personally speaking, I am really in favor of the test because it can encourage college students to try every means to improve their spoken English, which will benefit them forever. Thus I decide to make use of every opportunity to practise my spoken English, and surely it will do me much good.
