When Louis Tang left work,it was pouring with rain. Many people were standing in doorways of shops, taking shelter.
Louis took off his shoes and rolled up his trousers. Then, holding a newspaper over his head,he splashed his way across the road, with two shoes held in his hand.Although he ran as quickly as he could,he got soaking wet when he crossed the road, because it was raining in torrents at that time, and the road was already two or three inches deep in water.People who were taking shelter looked at him and felt sorry for him.
however,Louis was in fact much more lucky than those people. He didn't have to go very far because his home was just in the vicinity of the shop. When he got back home,he would be able to change the wet clothes and feel comfortable.
