Group Overview:
Internet Media Group is working on enabling seamless media experience in a well-designed media eco-system. We will perform leading edge research towards such a seamless media eco-system and will investigate technologies and systems for media capturing, coding and delivery, media management, sharing and distribution, media representation and post processing, with emphases on media scalable compression, cross-network and cross-device support, user-friendly media interaction, digital right management and security, semantic content analysis, template-based media authoring and sharing, including but not limited to.

Roles & Responsibilities:
We are seeking to strengthen our team with brilliant, creative, self-motivated minds with a passion for research and creating innovative technologies of great impacts.lIdentify and create research and development projects with great impacts hxw.red
Research on relevant technologies for media eco-system. Initial focus will be on:1. Media (video/image/audio) search (on desktop and Web), media content analysis and media management
Media coding, media scalable coding, cross-platform media sharingFuture focus will be aligned with your interests and the company's needs
Create working prototypes and demo systems to show capabilities of and practical problems addressed by our innovative technologies, drive technology transfers to product groups, and help create and execute incubation projects

Required Qualifications:
Ph. D. or M. S. in electrical or computer engineering, computer science, mathematics, or related fieldsl
Strong background in multimedia content analysis, video/image retrieval, multimedia database, video/image processing, computer vision, machine learning, or systemsl
Strong programming skills in C/C++/C# and system programmingl
Proved research capabilities or potentialsl
Ability to solve complex problemsl
Ability to work independently with minimal supervisionl
Great team member
Good written and oral English.
